Inspired by the movie, and I just made it similar to the mission of the movie. The common thing is the player flies through the canyon, bombs with Laser-guided weapon, and get out from the base. Other than that, you won't find unique elements from the movie, like names, callsigns, dialogues, etc. (All callsigns were intentionally hidden.)
The voice resources in this game are came from Ace Combat Zero, so maybe you can hear something familiar voices if you played the original game.
In fact, the reason I made this game is to test my development skills and, if necessary, help someone build something similar to this project. That's why the github repository link exists.
Sorry to interrupt. First of all, I am a Chinese high school student. Secondly, our teacher asked us to do an interview during the vacation. Because I like your game, so I decided to interview you.
I‘m going to ask you a few questions:
First, what is your opinion and attitude towards small independent games?
Second, your view and attitude towards games produced by Large professional game enterprise
If you are familiar with the Chinese game market, please answer the following questions:
What do you think of the game censorship system in China?
What do you think of the current state of gaming in China?
I'm sorry, but it's difficult to answer to your questions because I don't have the appropriate experience and knowledges. I might be able to give you an answer if I had a lot of experience or careers.
And questions about Chinese game, maybe you can guess my nationality from the description or github repository. I know very little about Chinese games and policies, so I don't think I can tell my thoughts about those topics. I think you'd be better off interviewing someone who works in game companies in your country. (NetEase, Tencent, HoYoverse, etc.)
Sorry for not being able to help, but if there's another questions about this project, you can contact via email lunetis@naver.com.

Holy cow this is really good! The game replicates AC7's UI and physics very well.
Is this related to or inspired by 'Top Gun: Maverick' in any way?
